Turkey Club Sandwich Recipe

 


Here is a recipe for a classic turkey club sandwich:

Ingredients:

  • 3 slices of bread
  • 2-3 slices of cooked turkey
  • 2 slices of bacon, cooked until crispy
  • 1-2 lettuce leaves
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • Mayonnaise

Instructions:

  1. Toast the bread until it is lightly golden brown.
  2. Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. On one slice of bread, layer the turkey, bacon, lettuce, and tomato.
  4. Top with another slice of bread, mayonnaise side down.
  5. Repeat with the remaining slice of bread and ingredients to make a second sandwich.
  6. Cut each sandwich into halves or quarters and serve.

Optional additions or variations:

  • Add a slice of cheese, such as cheddar or Swiss.
  • Spread avocado on one slice of bread instead of mayonnaise.
  • Add sliced pickles or a few slices of red onion.
  • Use sliced chicken or ham in place of the turkey.
  • Try using different types of bread, such as rye or whole grain.
