Here's a recipe for a classic doner kebab burger:
Ingredients:
- 1/2 pound ground lamb
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, grated
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 hamburger buns
- Tomato slices, lettuce, red onion, and tzatziki sauce for serving
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine the lamb, beef, grated onion, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, and salt and pepper. Mix well to combine.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
- Preheat a grill or a grill pan to medium-high heat. Grill the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked to your desired level of doneness.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with tomato slices, lettuce, red onion, and tzatziki sauce. Add the top half of the bun and serve.
Enjoy!
