classic doner kebab burger recipe

 


Here's a recipe for a classic doner kebab burger:

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 pound ground lamb
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, grated
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Tomato slices, lettuce, red onion, and tzatziki sauce for serving

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the lamb, beef, grated onion, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, and salt and pepper. Mix well to combine.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
  3. Preheat a grill or a grill pan to medium-high heat. Grill the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked to your desired level of doneness.
  4. Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with tomato slices, lettuce, red onion, and tzatziki sauce. Add the top half of the bun and serve.
