Here is a recipe for a classic club sandwich:
Ingredients:
- 8 slices bread (white, whole wheat, or your favourite variety)
- mayonnaise
- lettuce leaves
- 8 slices cooked bacon
- 1 pound sliced deli turkey
- 8 slices tomato
- 8 slices American cheese
- 4 large eggs, hard-boiled and sliced
Instructions:
- Spread mayonnaise on one side of 4 slices of bread.
- On the other side of the bread, place lettuce, 2 slices of bacon, turkey, tomato, cheese, and a few slices of hard-boiled egg.
- Top with another slice of bread, mayonnaise side down.
- Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make 3 more sandwiches.
- Cut each sandwich into quarters and secure with toothpicks.
- Serve the sandwiches immediately, or wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve. Enjoy!
