Here is a recipe for aloo keema:
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon coriander seeds
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt, to taste
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 cup water
- Fresh cilantro, for serving
Instructions:
- Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the cumin and coriander seeds and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Add the onion, garlic, and ginger and cook until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add the ground beef and cook until it is browned, about 5 minutes.
- Add the potatoes, garam masala, turmeric, cayenne pepper, and salt and stir to combine.
- Add the water and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer until the potatoes are tender, about 20 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
