Aloo Keema Recipe


Here is a recipe for aloo keema:
Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon coriander seeds
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water
  • Fresh cilantro, for serving

Instructions:

  1. Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the cumin and coriander seeds and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  2. Add the onion, garlic, and ginger and cook until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the ground beef and cook until it is browned, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the potatoes, garam masala, turmeric, cayenne pepper, and salt and stir to combine.
  5. Add the water and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer until the potatoes are tender, about 20 minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
